Condition Report

Spectacular vintage condition. Shows mild wear commensurate with age, no dings or chips, will come with some patina, as level of polish is a matter of taste. The brass wire work is more defined on one bracelet than the other, not a flaw just a variation typical with handcrafted work - amazing vintage bangles.

About this Piece

Cloisonné Enamel

Enamelling is the fusing of powdered, coloured glass to metal under very high heats. There are many different enamelling techniques - Cloisonné decoration is formed by first soldering or adhering silver or gold wires to the base metal in a pattern to create compartments which will remain visible on the surface when the process is finished, these areas are filled with coloured enamel and fired.
